Yerba Santa is primarily used as a healing and protection smudge, but is sometimes recognized as more of a balancing energy smudge.  Some ancient civilizations used Yerba Santa to negate any energies that were causing disease.  Yerba Santa can be burned like traditional white sage, or placed in pouches for spell work.
