Tickets for The Great Pagan Picnic and Fundraiser

We hereby summon witches, pagans, practitioners, spiritualists, mystics, hedge-folk, kitchen witches, gardeners, herbalists, readers, healers, artisans, rootworkers, and all kindred spirits of both nature & craft to gather beneath the same piece sky for The Great Pagan Picnic — a communal fundraising cookout devoted to fellowship, generosity, stewardship, and shared access to the wild places we love!!!!

This gathering is held in service of those living with ambulatory disabilities and mobility limitations, many of whom are quietly excluded from experiences others take for granted. At present, our nature preserves remain largely inaccessible to individuals who require mobility assistance, effectively barring many from true nature walks, woodland trails, and the restorative companionship of the living world itself.
We believe the preserves, forests, woodlands and wetlands belong to everyone; This is a community declaration that access to wonder should never be treated as a luxury.

Our aim is both simple and tangible: to help fund a small fleet of mobility devices for the Reinstein Woods Nature Preserve — presently one of the only regional preserve with pathways sufficiently level, stable, and navigable for safe accessibility use. With community support, more individuals will be able to move through the woods, attend educational programs, participate in seasonal gatherings, and once again experience the quiet dignity of mobility amongst the trees, flowers, water, birdsong, and wind.
Reinstein Woods has agreed to purchase and maintain whatever scooters we can pay for.

To show your support, simply grab your ticket for the picnic at one of the participating shops or locations listed on the event page. Tickets are twenty dollars, this will provide you food drink and snacks; and the proceeds, everything from the ticket sales will go toward the mobility devices.
Kids do not require tickets

The world is starving for the sound of people taking care of things. So expect good food, open-hearted company, music, laughter, ritual-minded merriment, old stories, new friendships, and the rare kind of community that still remembers how to gather around a shared table for the good of others.
Bring your picnic blankets, your strange hats, your voice, your oddity, and your appetite for both food and fellowship! Let’s answer exclusion by practicing a little old magic: neighbors helping neighbors beneath the trees.
